Connect Stripe to accept payments
Complete Stripe Connect in Billing so you can sell paid tickets, auctions, and ballots.
Where to connect
Open your organisation dashboard, go to Billing & Payments, and start Stripe Connect onboarding. Stripe opens in a new tab so you can submit business and payout details.
Billing is visible to organisation admins only.
When Stripe is required
Your organisation must be approved (active) and Stripe onboarding must be complete before you schedule paid ticket sales, auctions, or paid ballots.
- Fully free / complimentary events can often go live without Connect
- Any paid path — including pay-what-you-want above £0 — needs Connect
- Auctions always need Connect so winners can pay
If onboarding is incomplete
Return to Billing and continue onboarding until Stripe shows the account as ready. Include your organisation ID if you email support about payouts.
